Ours is a non-profit that helps people, schools, and organizations with transitions. Jon's professional presence and experience, together with his non-threatening and empathetic approach, have given us the safety and encouragement we needed to face our own pivotal moment of change. His carefully crafted and curated questions have led concretely to next strategic operational steps—and therefore to clear organizational development. We are in a very different, more evolved place than when we started working with Jon. And he’s accomplished all this in his generous way that remains respectful and caring for the people involved. 

I can’t figure out whether Jon reminds me more of a psychotherapist or an expert mechanic. He has the therapist’s ability to "listen through” reams of information and data and hear an organization’s true story. And he can pinpoint the key bolts or belts that need tightening, removing any rattle and clank. 

If I had to summarize Jon’s effect on SPAN, it would be this: 

He’s refocused us on strategy, regrounded us nearby empowered decision makers, and steered our Board away from operations. Our organizational motor is humming more clearly. We’re lucky to have found Jon, and the world we operate in is benefiting from his laser-sharp guidance.
