Working with Jon Hansen and Global School Operations has been both highly professional and genuinely valuable to ISZL. After several years of strengthening our academic and operational foundations across a complex, multi-campus environment, we engaged GSO to undertake a full operational scan to better understand both our progress and the opportunities ahead.

What distinguishes Jon is his ability to operate seamlessly at both the leadership and Board level. He brings clarity and structure to complex operational questions, while remaining attentive to the people and context behind them. As a Head of School, this balance is both rare and important.

Through his work, Jon created space for meaningful reflection while bringing greater coherence to our operational landscape. His observations affirmed areas of strength, while thoughtfully identifying opportunities to better connect and strengthen how we work.

Particularly impactful was his ability to listen carefully to leaders and stakeholders with empathy and without judgment. His feedback resonated quickly, as it articulated realities that were already felt but not always clearly expressed. He then translated this into clear, well-framed conversations that supported constructive dialogue within the leadership team and with the Board.

The outcome was not simply a report, but a practical and usable roadmap that will continue to support ISZL as we evolve. It provides a clear path for strengthening our operations and advancing our strategic priorities in a meaningful way. As we look ahead, we are exploring opportunities to continue this partnership.
